וּבְי֛וֹם in oo-veh-YOME עֶשְׂרִ֥ים the es-REEM וְאַרְבָּעָ֖ה four veh-ar-ba-AH לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ and la-HOH-desh הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן twentieth ha-ree-SHONE וַאֲנִ֗י day va-uh-NEE הָיִ֛יתִי of ha-YEE-tee עַ֣ל the al יַ֧ד first yahd הַנָּהָ֛ר month, ha-na-HAHR הַגָּד֖וֹל as ha-ɡa-DOLE ה֥וּא I hoo חִדָּֽקֶל׃ was hee-DA-kel -
וָאֶשָּׂ֤א I va-eh-SA אֶת lifted et עֵינַי֙ up ay-NA וָאֵ֔רֶא va-A-reh וְהִנֵּ֥ה mine veh-hee-NAY אִישׁ eyes, eesh אֶחָ֖ד and eh-HAHD לָב֣וּשׁ looked, la-VOOSH בַּדִּ֑ים and ba-DEEM וּמָתְנָ֥יו behold oo-mote-NAV חֲגֻרִ֖ים a huh-ɡoo-REEM בְּכֶ֥תֶם certain beh-HEH-tem אוּפָֽז׃ man oo-FAHZ -
וּגְוִיָּת֣וֹ body oo-ɡeh-vee-ya-TOH כְתַרְשִׁ֗ישׁ also heh-tahr-SHEESH וּפָנָ֞יו was oo-fa-NAV כְּמַרְאֵ֤ה like keh-mahr-A בָרָק֙ the va-RAHK וְעֵינָיו֙ beryl, veh-ay-nav כְּלַפִּ֣ידֵי and keh-la-PEE-day אֵ֔שׁ his aysh וּזְרֹֽעֹתָיו֙ face oo-zeh-ROH-oh-tav וּמַרְגְּלֹתָ֔יו as oo-mahr-ɡeh-loh-TAV כְּעֵ֖ין the keh-ANE נְחֹ֣שֶׁת appearance neh-HOH-shet קָלָ֑ל of ka-LAHL וְק֥וֹל lightning, veh-KOLE דְּבָרָ֖יו and deh-va-RAV כְּק֥וֹל his keh-KOLE הָמֽוֹן׃ eyes ha-MONE -
וְרָאִיתִי֩ I veh-ra-ee-TEE אֲנִ֨י Daniel uh-NEE דָנִיֵּ֤אל alone da-nee-YALE לְבַדִּי֙ saw leh-va-DEE אֶת et הַמַּרְאָ֔ה the ha-mahr-AH וְהָאֲנָשִׁים֙ vision: veh-ha-uh-na-SHEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר for uh-SHER הָי֣וּ the ha-YOO עִמִּ֔י men ee-MEE לֹ֥א that loh רָא֖וּ were ra-OO אֶת with et הַמַּרְאָ֑ה me ha-mahr-AH אֲבָ֗ל saw uh-VAHL חֲרָדָ֤ה not huh-ra-DA גְדֹלָה֙ ɡeh-doh-LA נָפְלָ֣ה the nofe-LA עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם vision; uh-lay-HEM וַֽיִּבְרְח֖וּ but va-yeev-reh-HOO בְּהֵחָבֵֽא׃ a beh-hay-ha-VAY -
וַאֲנִי֙ I va-uh-NEE נִשְׁאַ֣רְתִּי was neesh-AR-tee לְבַדִּ֔י left leh-va-DEE וָֽאֶרְאֶ֗ה alone, va-er-EH אֶת et הַמַּרְאָ֤ה and ha-mahr-AH הַגְּדֹלָה֙ saw ha-ɡeh-doh-LA הַזֹּ֔את ha-ZOTE וְלֹ֥א this veh-LOH נִשְׁאַר great neesh-AR בִּ֖י vision, bee כֹּ֑ח and koke וְהוֹדִ֗י there veh-hoh-DEE נֶהְפַּ֤ךְ remained neh-PAHK עָלַי֙ no ah-LA לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית strength leh-mahsh-HEET וְלֹ֥א in veh-LOH עָצַ֖רְתִּי me: ah-TSAHR-tee כֹּֽחַ׃ for KOH-ak -
וָאֶשְׁמַ֖ע heard va-esh-MA אֶת I et ק֣וֹל kole דְּבָרָ֑יו the deh-va-RAV וּכְשָׁמְעִי֙ voice oo-heh-shome-EE אֶת of et ק֣וֹל his kole דְּבָרָ֔יו words: deh-va-RAV וַאֲנִ֗י and va-uh-NEE הָיִ֛יתִי when ha-YEE-tee נִרְדָּ֥ם I neer-DAHM עַל heard al פָּנַ֖י pa-NAI וּפָנַ֥י the oo-fa-NAI אָֽרְצָה׃ voice AH-reh-tsa -
וְהִנֵּה behold, veh-hee-NAY יָ֖ד an yahd נָ֣גְעָה hand NA-ɡeh-ah בִּ֑י touched bee וַתְּנִיעֵ֥נִי me, va-teh-nee-A-nee עַל which al בִּרְכַּ֖י set beer-KAI וְכַפּ֥וֹת me veh-HA-pote יָדָֽי׃ upon ya-DAI -

וְהֵ֣יךְ how veh-HAKE יוּכַ֗ל can yoo-HAHL עֶ֤בֶד the EH-ved אֲדֹנִי֙ servant uh-doh-NEE זֶ֔ה of zeh לְדַבֵּ֖ר this leh-da-BARE עִם my eem אֲדֹ֣נִי lord uh-DOH-nee זֶ֑ה talk zeh וַאֲנִ֤י with va-uh-NEE מֵעַ֙תָּה֙ this may-AH-TA לֹֽא my loh יַעֲמָד lord? ya-uh-MAHD בִּ֣י for bee כֹ֔חַ as HOH-ak וּנְשָׁמָ֖ה for oo-neh-sha-MA לֹ֥א me, loh נִשְׁאֲרָה straightway neesh-uh-RA בִֽי׃ there vee -
וַיֹּ֧סֶף there va-YOH-sef וַיִּגַּע came va-yee-ɡA בִּ֛י again bee כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה and keh-mahr-A אָדָ֖ם touched ah-DAHM וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽנִי׃ me VA-ha-zeh-KAY-nee -
וַיֹּ֜אמֶר said, va-YOH-mer אַל O al תִּירָ֧א man tee-RA אִישׁ greatly eesh חֲמֻד֛וֹת beloved, huh-moo-DOTE שָׁל֥וֹם fear sha-LOME לָ֖ךְ not: lahk חֲזַ֣ק peace huh-ZAHK וַחֲזָ֑ק be va-huh-ZAHK וּֽכְדַבְּר֤וֹ unto oo-heh-da-beh-ROH עִמִּי֙ thee, ee-MEE הִתְחַזַּ֔קְתִּי be heet-ha-ZAHK-tee וָאֹ֥מְרָ֛ה strong, va-OH-meh-RA יְדַבֵּ֥ר yea, yeh-da-BARE אֲדֹנִ֖י be uh-doh-NEE כִּ֥י strong. kee חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ And hee-zahk-TA-nee -
