நான் உன்னைப் பாழாகவும் உன் குடிகளை ஈசலிட்டு நிந்திக்கிற நிந்தையாகவும் வைக்கும்படி, உம்ரியினுடைய கட்டளைகளும் ஆகாப் வீட்டாருடைய எல்லாச் செய்கைகளும் கைக்கொள்ளப்பட்டுவருகிறது; அவர்களுடைய ஆலோசனைகளிலே நடக்கிறீர்கள்; ஆகையால் என் ஜனத்தின் நிந்தையைச் சுமப்பீர்கள்.

ஏனென்றால் நீ ஓம்ரியின் சட்டங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவாய். நீ ஆகாப் குடும்பம் செய்தத் தீயவற்றைச் செய்வாய். நீ அவர்களின் உபதேசங்களைப் பின்பற்றுவாய். எனவே நான் உன்னை அழியும்படி விடுவேன். ஜனங்கள் உனது அழிந்த நகரங்களைக் காணும்போது பரிகசித்து ஆச்சரியப்படுவார்கள். அந்நிய நாட்டு ஜனங்களின் நிந்தையை நீங்கள் சுமப்பீர்கள்.”

the works מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה maʿăśe ma-uh-SEH
of the house בֵית bayit ba-YEET
of Ahab, אַחְאָ֔ב ʾaḥʾāb ak-AV
and ye walk וַתֵּלְכ֖וּ hālak ha-LAHK
in their counsels; בְּמֹֽעֲצוֹתָ֑ם môʿēṣâ moh-ay-TSA
that לְמַעַן֩ maʿan ma-AN
I should make תִּתִּ֨י nātan na-TAHN
