அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: நான் சிருஷ்டித்த மனுஷனைப் பூமியின்மேல் வைக்காமல், மனுஷன் முதற்கொண்டு, மிருகங்கள் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் பரியந்தமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளை நிக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன்; நான் அவர்களை உண்டாக்கினது எனக்கு மனஸ்தாபமாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: நான் உருவாக்கிய மனிதனை பூமியின்மேல் வைக்காமல், மனிதன் முதற்கொண்டு, மிருகங்கள், ஊரும் பிராணிகள், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள்வரை உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளை அழித்துப்போடுவேன்; நான் அவர்களை உண்டாக்கினது எனக்கு மனவேதனையாக இருக்கிறது என்றார்.

எனவே கர்த்தர், “பூமியில் நான் படைத்த அனைத்து மனிதர்களையும், மிருகங்களையும், ஊர்வனவற்றையும், வானத்தில் பறக்கும் பறவைகளையும் அழிக்கப் போகிறேன். ஏனென்றால் நான் இவற்றையெல்லாம் படைத்ததற்காக வருத்தப்படுகிறேன்” என்றார்.

இப்படியிருக்க, பாவத்தை அறிகிற அறிவு நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிறபடியால், எந்த மனுஷனும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியையினாலே தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
