இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் சந்தேகப்படாமல் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால், இந்த அத்திமரத்திற்கு செய்ததை நீங்கள் செய்வதுமல்லாமல், இந்த மலையைப் பார்த்து: நீ பெயர்ந்து சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளுண்டுபோ என்று சொன்னாலும் அப்படியாகும் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைக் கூறுகிறேன், நீங்களும் விசுவாசத்துட னும் சந்தேகிக்காமலும் இருந்தால், நான் இம்மரத்திற்குச் செய்ததைப் போலவே உங்களாலும் செய்ய இயலும். மேலும் உங்களால் இன்னும் அதிகமாகச் சாதிக்க இயலும். இம்மலையைப் பார்த்து ‘மலையே போய் கடலில் விழு’ என்று நீங்கள் விசுவாசத்துடன் சொன்னால் அது நடக்கும்.
