திரளான ஜனங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் கூடிவந்தபடியால், அவர் படவில் ஏறி உட்கார்ந்தார்; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் கரையிலே நின்றார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அந்தப்படவுகளில் ஒன்றில் ஏறினார், அது சீமோனுடையதாயிருந்தது; அதைக் கரையிலிருந்து சற்றே தள்ளும்படி அவனைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டு, அந்தப்படவில் உட்கார்ந்து, ஜனங்களுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணினார்.

சமாதான கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் செங்கோல் யூதாவைவிட்டு நீங்குவதும் இல்லை, நியாயப்பிரமாணிக்கன் அவன் பாதங்களை விட்டு ஒழிவதும் இல்லை; ஜனங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் சேருவார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது, சப்பாணிகள், குருடர், ஊமையர், ஊனர் முதலிய அநேகரை, திரளான ஜனங்கள் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு இயேசுவிடத்தில் வந்து, அவர்களை அவர் பாதத்திலே வைத்தார்கள்; அவர்களை அவர் சொஸ்தப்படுத்தினார்.

அவர் மறுபடியும் கடலோரத்திலே போதகம்பண்ணத் தொடங்கினார். திரளான ஜனங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் கூடிவந்தபடியால், அவர் கடலிலே நின்ற ஒரு படவில் ஏறி உட்கார்ந்தார்; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் கடற்கரையில் நின்றார்கள்.
