கர்த்தர் லாகீசை இஸ்ரவேலின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அதை இரண்டாம் நாளிலே பிடித்து, லிப்னாவுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல, அதையும் அதிலுள்ள எல்லா நரஜீவன்களையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்தான்.

லாகீசு நகரத்தைத் தோற்கடிப்பதற்கு கர்த்தர் அவர்களை அனுமதித்தார். இரண்டாம் நாளில் அந்நகரைத் தோற்கடித்தார்கள். லிப்னாவில் செய்தபடியே, இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அந்நகரிலிருந்த அனைவரையும் கொன்றார்கள்.
