உசியாவினுடைய குமாரனாகிய யோதாமின் குமாரன் ஆகாஸ் என்னும் யூதாதேசத்து ராஜாவின் நாட்களிலே, ரேத்சீன் என்னும் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவும், ரெமலியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெக்கா என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும் எருசலேமினால் யுத்தம்பண்ண வந்தார்கள், அவர்களால் அதைப் பிடிக்கக் கூடாமற்போயிற்று.

ஆகாஸ் யோதாமின் மகன், யோதாம் உசியாவின் மகன், ரேத்சீன் ஆராமின் அரசன். ரெமலியாவின் மகனான பெக்கா இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசன். ஆகாஸ் யூதாவின் அரசனாக இருந்த காலத்திலே, ரேத்சீனும் பெக்காவும் எருசலேமிற்குப் போய் அதற்கு எதிராகச் சண்டையிட்டனர். ஆனால் அவர்களால் அந்நகரத்தைத் தோற்கடிக்க முடியவில்லை.

உசியாவின் பேரனும் யோதாமின் மகனுமான ஆகாசு யூதா நாட்டை ஆட்சி செய்த நாள்களில், இரட்சின் என்னும் சிரியா நாட்டு அரசனும் இரமலியாவின் மகன் பெக்கா என்னும் இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டு அரசனும் எருசலேமுக்கு எதிராகப் போர் தொடுத்து அதை வீழ்த்த முயன்றனர். அவர்களால் அது இயலாமற் போயிற்று.⒫
