ஆதியாகமம் 39:6
ஆகையால், அவன் தனக்கு உண்டானதையெல்லாம் யோசேப்பின் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, தான் புசிக்கிற போஜனம்தவிர தன்னிடத்திலிருந்த மற்றொன்றைக்குறித்தும் விசாரியாதிருந்தான். யோசேப்பு அழகான ரூபமும் செளந்தரிய முகமும் உள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்.

ஆகையால், அவன் தனக்கு உண்டானதையெல்லாம் யோசேப்பின் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, தான் சாப்பிடுகிற உணவு தவிர தன்னிடத்திலிருந்த மற்றொன்றைக்குறித்தும் விசாரிக்காமல் இருந்தான். யோசேப்பு அழகான ரூபமும் சௌந்தரிய முகமும் உள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்.

ஆகவே போத்திபார் யோசேப்பிற்கு வீட்டிலுள்ள எல்லா பொறுப்புகளையும் கொடுத்துவிட்டான். அவன் உண்ணும் உணவைத் தவிர வேறு எதைப்பற்றியும் கவலைப்படவில்லை. யோசேப்பு கம்பீரமாகவும் பார்ப்பதற்கு அழகாகவும் இருந்தான்.

not וְלֹֽא lōʾ loh
and he knew יָדַ֤ע yādaʿ ya-DA
he had, אִתּוֹ֙ ʾēt ate
ought מְא֔וּמָה mĕʾûmâ meh-oo-MA
כִּ֥י kî kee
save אִם ʾim eem
the bread הַלֶּ֖חֶם leḥem leh-HEM
