ஆதியாகமம் 25:22
அவள் கர்ப்பத்திலே பிள்ளைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதிக்கொண்டிருந்தன; அப்பொழுது அவள்: இப்படியானால் எனக்கு எப்படியோ என்று சொல்லி, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி போனாள்.

அவள் கர்ப்பமாக இருந்தபோது, கருவிலுள்ள குழந்தைகள் மோதிக்கொண்டதால் மிகவும் கஷ்டப்பட்டாள். அவள் கர்த்தரிடம் ஜெபித்து, “ஏன் எனக்கு இவ்வாறு ஏற்படுகிறது?” என்று கேட்டாள்.

and she said, וַתֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
If אִם ʾim eem
so, כֵּ֔ן kēn kane
why לָ֥מָּה mâ ma
thus? זֶּ֖ה ze zeh
I אָנֹ֑כִי ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
And she went וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ hālak ha-LAHK
to inquire לִדְרֹ֥שׁ dāraš da-RAHSH
of אֶת ʾēt ate
the Lord. יְהוָֽה׃ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
