எகிப்திய சேனையும் அவர்கள் குதிரைகளும் இரதங்களும் உங்களைப் பின் தொடர்ந்துவருகையில், கர்த்தர் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தின் ஜலத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் புரளப்பண்ணி, இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதுபோல, அவர்களை அழித்த அவருடைய செய்கையையும்,

he did עָשָׂה֩ ʿāśâ ah-SA
unto the army לְחֵ֨יל ḥayil ha-YEEL
of Egypt, מִצְרַ֜יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
unto their horses, לְסוּסָ֣יו sûs soos
and to their chariots; וּלְרִכְבּ֗וֹ rekeb reh-HEV
how אֲשֶׁ֨ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
to overflow הֵצִ֜יף ṣûp tsoof
he made אֶת ʾēt ate
the water מֵ֤י mayim ma-YEEM
sea יַם yām yahm
of the Red סוּף֙ sûp soof
עַל ʿal al
them פְּנֵיהֶ֔ם pānîm pa-NEEM
as they pursued בְּרָדְפָ֖ם rādap ra-DAHF
after אַֽחֲרֵיכֶ֑ם ʾaḥar ah-HAHR
hath destroyed וַיְאַבְּדֵ֣ם ʾābad ah-VAHD
you, and the Lord יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
them unto עַ֖ד ʿad ad
day; הַיּ֥וֹם yôm yome
