அவன் இப்படிச் சொல்லி முடிக்கும் முன்னே, இதோ, ஆபிரகாமுடைய சகோதரனாகிய நாகோரின் மனைவி மில்க்காளுடைய குமாரனாயிருக்கிற பெத்துவேலுக்குப் பிறந்த ரெபெக்காள் குடத்தைத் தோள்மேல் வைத்துக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டு வந்தாள்.

அவன் இப்படிச் சொல்லி முடிப்பதற்கு முன்பே, இதோ, ஆபிரகாமுடைய சகோதரனாகிய நாகோரின் மனைவி மில்க்காளுடைய மகனாகிய பெத்துவேலுக்குப் பிறந்த ரெபெக்காள் குடத்தைத் தோள்மேல் வைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தாள்.

அந்த வேலைக்காரன் இவ்வாறு பிரார்த்தனை செய்து முடிப்பதற்குள் ஒரு இளம் பெண் தண்ணீரெடுக்க கிணற்றருகே வந்தாள். இவள் பெத்துவேலின் மகளாகிய ரெபெக்காள். பெத்துவேல் நாகோருக்கும் மில்காளுக்கும் பிறந்த மகன். நாகோர் ஆபிரகாமின் சகோதரன். அவள் தோளில் குடத்தை வைத்துக்கொண்டு தண்ணீரெடுக்க வந்தாள்.

speaking, לְדַבֵּר֒ dābar da-VAHR
that, behold, וְהִנֵּ֧ה hinnē hee-NAY
Rebekah רִבְקָ֣ה ribqâ reev-KA
came out, יֹצֵ֗את yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
who אֲשֶׁ֤ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
was born יֻלְּדָה֙ yālad ya-LAHD
to Bethuel, לִבְתוּאֵ֣ל bĕtûʾēl beh-too-ALE
son בֶּן bēn bane
