Leviticus 27
9 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ “ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
10 ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
11 “ਕੁਝ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪਲੀਤ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
12 ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਬੁਰਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ, ਇਹ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ,
13 ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਰ ਜੋੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
9 And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the Lord, all that any man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.
10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.
11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.
13 But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

10 ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

11 “ਕੁਝ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪਲੀਤ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

12 ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਬੁਰਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ, ਇਹ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ,
And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.
13 ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਰ ਜੋੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
