ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮਂਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ, “ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ! ਇਹ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ: ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਵਕਤ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ!” ਪਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ: “ਨਬੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਨਕੀ ਹੈ।” ਨਬੀ ਆਖਦਾ: “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਪਾਵੋਂਗੇ।”

The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.

American Standard Version (ASV)
The days of visitation are come, the days of recompense are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the man that hath the spirit is mad, for the abundance of thine iniquity, and because the enmity is great.
