ସପ୍ତମ ଥର ରେ ସବେକ ଫରେିଆସି କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ହାତମୁଠା ସଦୃଶ ଖଣ୍ଡେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ମେଘ ସମୁଦ୍ରରୁ ଉଠିବାପରି ଦେଖୁଛି।

| time, seventh the at | בַּשְּׁבִעִ֔ית | baššĕbiʿît | ba-sheh-vee-EET |
| said, he that | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| Behold, | הִנֵּה | hinnē | hee-NAY |
| there ariseth | עָ֛ב | ʿāb | av |
| a little | קְטַנָּ֥ה | qĕṭannâ | keh-ta-NA |
| cloud | כְּכַף | kĕkap | keh-HAHF |
| out of the sea, | אִ֖ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| man's a like | עֹלָ֣ה | ʿōlâ | oh-LA |
| hand. | מִיָּ֑ם | miyyām | mee-YAHM |
| And he said, | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| Go up, | עֲלֵ֨ה | ʿălē | uh-LAY |
| say | אֱמֹ֤ר | ʾĕmōr | ay-MORE |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Ahab, | אַחְאָב֙ | ʾaḥʾāb | ak-AV |
| Prepare | אֱסֹ֣ר | ʾĕsōr | ay-SORE |
| down, thee get and chariot, thy | וָרֵ֔ד | wārēd | va-RADE |
| that the rain | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| stop | יַֽעֲצָרְכָ֖ה | yaʿăṣorkâ | ya-uh-tsore-HA |
| thee not. | הַגָּֽשֶׁם׃ | haggāšem | ha-ɡA-shem |
