ശൌലിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ ആ വാക്കു ദാവീദിനോടു പറഞ്ഞാറെ ദാവീദ്: രാജാവിന്റെ മരുമകനാകുന്നതു അല്പകാര്യമെന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ? ഞാൻ ദരിദ്രനും എളിയവനും ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Seemeth	בְעֵֽינֵיכֶם֙	ʿayin	ah-YEEN

to be a king's	בַּמֶּ֔לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
seeing that I	וְאָֽנֹכִ֖י	ʾānōkî	ah-noh-HEE
man,	אִֽישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
a poor	רָ֥שׁ	rûš	roosh
