Leviticus 11
1 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:
2 നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഇവ:
3 മൃഗങ്ങളിൽ കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതും അയവിറക്കുന്നതുമായതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.
4 എന്നാൽ അയവിറക്കുന്നവയിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവയിലും നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതാത്തവ ഇവ: ഒട്ടകം; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
5 കുഴിമുയൽ; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
6 മുയൽ; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
7 പന്നി കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതായി കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ എങ്കിലും അയവിറക്കുന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
8 ഇവയുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതു; പിണം തൊടുകയും അരുതു; ഇവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

1 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:
And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഇവ:
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 മൃഗങ്ങളിൽ കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതും അയവിറക്കുന്നതുമായതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്നാം.
Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 എന്നാൽ അയവിറക്കുന്നവയിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവയിലും നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതാത്തവ ഇവ: ഒട്ടകം; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

6 മുയൽ; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 പന്നി കുളമ്പു പിളർന്നതായി കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ എങ്കിലും അയവിറക്കുന്നതല്ലായ്കയാൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

8 ഇവയുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നരുതു; പിണം തൊടുകയും അരുതു; ഇവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധം.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
