Leviticus 11
1 প্রভু মোশি ও হারোণকে বললেন,
2 “ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: এই সমস্ত জন্তু তোমরা আহার করতে পারো|
3 যে সব জন্তুর পাযের খুর দুভাগে ভাগ করা, সেইসব জন্তু যদি জাবর কাটে তা হলে তোমরা সেই জন্তুর মাংস খেতে পারো|
4 “কিছু জন্তু আবার জাবর কাটে কিন্তু তাদের পাযের খুর দু’ভাগ করা নয, তোমরা সে সব জন্তু খাবে না|
5 উট, পাহাড়ের শাফন এবং খরগোশ হল সেই রকম|
6 তাই তারা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
7 অন্য কিছু জন্তুদের পাযের খুর দু’ভাগ করা, কিন্তু তারা জাবর কাটে না, ঐসব জন্তু খাবে না| শূকর সেই ধরণের, সুতরাং তারা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
8 ঐসব প্রাণীর মাংস খাবে না| এমনকি তাদের মৃত দেহও স্পর্শ করবে না, তা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

1 প্রভু মোশি ও হারোণকে বললেন,
And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 “ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: এই সমস্ত জন্তু তোমরা আহার করতে পারো|
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 যে সব জন্তুর পাযের খুর দুভাগে ভাগ করা, সেইসব জন্তু যদি জাবর কাটে তা হলে তোমরা সেই জন্তুর মাংস খেতে পারো|
Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 “কিছু জন্তু আবার জাবর কাটে কিন্তু তাদের পাযের খুর দু’ভাগ করা নয, তোমরা সে সব জন্তু খাবে না|
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 উট, পাহাড়ের শাফন এবং খরগোশ হল সেই রকম|
And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 তাই তারা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 অন্য কিছু জন্তুদের পাযের খুর দু’ভাগ করা, কিন্তু তারা জাবর কাটে না, ঐসব জন্তু খাবে না| শূকর সেই ধরণের, সুতরাং তারা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 ঐসব প্রাণীর মাংস খাবে না| এমনকি তাদের মৃত দেহও স্পর্শ করবে না, তা তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি|
