Leviticus 25:1-7 in Kannada

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.

3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,

7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

1 ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--

2 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇಶವು ಕರ್ತನಿ ಗಾಗಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

3 ಆರು ವರುಷ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬೇಕು, ಆರು ವರುಷ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು, ಅವು ಗಳಿಂದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

4 ಆದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ವರುಷವು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಾಗಿರುವದು, ಕರ್ತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಾಗಿರುವದು. ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬಾರದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟ ವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಬಾರದು.
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಬೆಳೆದಿ ರುವ ಪೈರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೊಯ್ಯಬಾರದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸದಿರುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬಾರದು; ಅದು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ವರುಷವಾಗಿರುವದು.

6 ದೇಶದ ಆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇರುವದು; ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನಿಗೂ ದಾಸಿಗೂ ಕೂಲಿ ಆಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಕೀಯನಿಗೂ
And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,

7 ನಿನ್ನ ದನಗಳಿಗೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು.
And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
