Leviticus 25
1 সীনয় পর্বতে প্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
2 “ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: আমি যে দেশ তোমাদের দিচ্ছি, সেখানে প্রবেশ করলে তোমরা জমিটিকে বিশ্রামের সময় দেবে| প্রভুকে সম্মান দেওয়ার জন্য এই বিশ্রামের সময় বিশেষ সময়|
3 তোমরা ছ’বছর ধরে তোমাদের জমিতে বীজ বপন করবে, তোমাদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতগুলিতে গাছগুলিকে ছ’বছর ছাঁটবে এবং ফল নিয়ে আসবে|
4 কিন্তু সপ্তম বছরে প্রভুকে সম্মান জানানোর জন্য তোমরা জমিকে বিশ্রাম দেবে| এই সময় তোমরা তোমাদের ক্ষেতে বীজ বপন করবে না অথবা তোমাদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতে গাছগুলি ছাঁটবে না|
5 ফসল কাটার পর যে সমস্ত শস্য নিজেরাই জন্মেছে, তোমরা অবশ্যই তাদের কাটবে না| যে সমস্ত দ্রাক্ষালতা ছাঁটা হয়নি সেখান থেকে তোমরা অবশ্যই দ্রাক্ষা সংগ্রহ করবে না| জমি এক বছর বিশ্রামে থাকবে|
6 “কিন্তু জমি এক বছরের বিশ্রামে থাকাকালীন ইস্রায়েলে উত্পন্ন হবে তাতে তোমাদের জন্য, তোমাদের পুরুষ এবং মহিলা ভৃত্যদের খাবার জন্য প্রচুর খাদ্য থাকবে| তোমাদের জনখাটা ভাড়াটে শ্রমিকদের জন্য, তোমাদের দেশে বসবাস করা বিদেশীদের জন্য
7 এবং তোমাদের পশুদের ও তোমার দেশের বন্য পশুদের খাবার মত প্রচুর খাদ্য থাকবে|
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

1 সীনয় পর্বতে প্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2 “ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: আমি যে দেশ তোমাদের দিচ্ছি, সেখানে প্রবেশ করলে তোমরা জমিটিকে বিশ্রামের সময় দেবে| প্রভুকে সম্মান দেওয়ার জন্য এই বিশ্রামের সময় বিশেষ সময়|
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
3 তোমরা ছ’বছর ধরে তোমাদের জমিতে বীজ বপন করবে, তোমাদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতগুলিতে গাছগুলিকে ছ’বছর ছাঁটবে এবং ফল নিয়ে আসবে|
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4 কিন্তু সপ্তম বছরে প্রভুকে সম্মান জানানোর জন্য তোমরা জমিকে বিশ্রাম দেবে| এই সময় তোমরা তোমাদের ক্ষেতে বীজ বপন করবে না অথবা তোমাদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতে গাছগুলি ছাঁটবে না|
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5 ফসল কাটার পর যে সমস্ত শস্য নিজেরাই জন্মেছে, তোমরা অবশ্যই তাদের কাটবে না| যে সমস্ত দ্রাক্ষালতা ছাঁটা হয়নি সেখান থেকে তোমরা অবশ্যই দ্রাক্ষা সংগ্রহ করবে না| জমি এক বছর বিশ্রামে থাকবে|
That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
6 “কিন্তু জমি এক বছরের বিশ্রামে থাকাকালীন ইস্রায়েলে উত্পন্ন হবে তাতে তোমাদের জন্য, তোমাদের পুরুষ এবং মহিলা ভৃত্যদের খাবার জন্য প্রচুর খাদ্য থাকবে| তোমাদের জনখাটা ভাড়াটে শ্রমিকদের জন্য, তোমাদের দেশে বসবাস করা বিদেশীদের জন্য
And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
7 এবং তোমাদের পশুদের ও তোমার দেশের বন্য পশুদের খাবার মত প্রচুর খাদ্য থাকবে|
And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
