கர்த்தாவே, இந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே மனுஷனும் மிருகமுமுதலாய்த் தங்கித்தரிக்காதபடிக்கும், அது என்றென்றைக்கும் பாழாய்க் கிடக்கும்படிக்கும், அதை அழித்துப்போடுவேன் என்று தேவரீர் அதைக்குறித்து உரைத்தீர் என்பதை நீ சொல்லி

கர்த்தாவே, இந்த இடத்தில் மனிதனும் மிருகங்களும் தங்காமலிருக்க, அது என்றென்றைக்கும் அழிந்த நிலையிலிருக்க, அதை அழித்துப்போடுவேன் என்று தேவனே நீர் அதைக்குறித்து சொன்னீர் என்பதை நீ சொல்லி,

பிறகு சொல், ‘கர்த்தாவே, இந்த இடத்தை அழிக்கப்போவதாகச் சொன்னீர். நீர் அழிப்பீர். எனவே மனிதர்களோ மிருகங்களோ இதில் வாழாது. இந்த இடம் என்றென்றும் காலியான அழிவிடமாக இருக்கும்.’

Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

and say, O Jehovah, thou hast spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
