Deuteronomy 8 in Tamil

1 நீங்கள் பிழைத்துப் பெருகி, கர்த்தர் உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தேசத்திலே பிரவேசித்து, அதைச் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படி நான் இன்று உங்களுக்கு விதிக்கிற எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளைகளின்படியும் செய்யத் சாவதானமாயிருப்பீர்களாக. All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

2 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தும்படிக்கும், தம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நீ கைக்கொள்வாயோ கைக்கொள்ளமாட்டாயோ என்று அவர் உன்னைச் சோதித்து, உன் இருதயத்திலுள்ளதை நீ அறியும்படிக்கும், உன்னை இந்த நாற்பது வருஷமளவும் வனாந்தரத்திலே நடத்திவந்த எல்லா வழியையும் நினைப்பாயாக. And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

3 அவர் உன்னைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தி, உன்னைப் பசியினால் வருத்தி, மனுஷன் அப்பத்தினால் மாத்திரம் அல்ல, கர்த்தருடைய வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையினாலும் பிழைப்பான் என்பதை உனக்கு உணர்த்தும்படிக்கு, நீயும் உன் பிதாக்களும் அறியாதிருந்த மன்னாவினால் உன்னைப் போஷித்தார். And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

4 இந்த நாற்பது வருஷமும் உன்மேலிருந்த வஸ்திரம் பழையதாய்ப்போகவுமில்லை, உன் கால் வீங்கவும் இல்லை. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

5 ஒருவன் தன் புத்திரனைச் சிட்சிக்கிறதுபோல உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைச் சிட்சிக்கிறார் என்று நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் அறிந்துகொள்வாயாக. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

6 ஆகையால், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் வழிகளில் நடந்து, அவருக்குப் பயப்படும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவாய். Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

7 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை நல்ல தேசத்திலே பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்; அது பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும் மலைகளிலுமிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆறுகளும் ஊற்றுகளும் ஏரிகளுமுள்ள தேசம்; For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

8 அது கோதுமையும் வாற்கோதுமையும் திராட்சச் செடிகளும் அத்திமரங்களும் மாதளஞ்செடிகளுமுள்ள தேசம்; அது ஒலிவமரங்களும், எண்ணெயும் தேனுமுள்ள தேசம்; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

9 அது தாழ்ச்சியில்லாமல் அப்பம் புசிக்கத்தக்கதும் ஒன்றும் உனக்குக் குறைவுபடாததுமான தேசம்; அது கல்லுகள் இரும்பாயிருக்கிறதும், செம்பு வெட்டி எடுக்கத்தக்க மலைகளுள்ளதுமான தேசம். A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

10 ஆகையால், நீ புசித்துத் திர்ப்தியடைந்திருக்கையில், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுத்த அந்த நல்ல தேசத்துக்காக அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கக்கடவாய். When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

11 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை மறவாதபடிக்கும், நான் இன்று உனக்கு விதிக்கிற அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளாமற்போகாதபடிக்கும் எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு. Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

12 நீ புசித்துத் திர்ப்தியாகி, நல்ல வீடுகளைக் கட்டி, அவைகளில் குடியிருக்கும்போதும், Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13 உன் ஆடுமாடுகள் திரட்சியாகி, உனக்கு வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் பெருகி, உனக்கு உண்டானவையெல்லாம் வர்த்திக்கும்போதும், And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

14 உன் இருதயம் மேட்டிமையடையாமலும், உன்னை அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினவரும், Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15 உன்னுடைய பின்நாட்களில் உனக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்பொருட்டு, உன்னைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தி, உன்னைச் சோதித்து, கொள்ளிவாய்ச் சர்ப்பங்களும் தேள்களும், தண்ணீரில்லாத வறட்சியுமுள்ள பயங்கரமான பெரிய வனாந்தரவழியாய் உன்னை அழைத்துவந்தவரும், உனக்காகப் பாறையான கன்மலையிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் புறப்படப்பண்ணினவரும். Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

16 உன் பிதாக்கள் அறியாத மன்னாவினால் வனாந்தரத்திலே உன்னைப் போஷித்து வந்தவருமான உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நீ மறவாமலும், Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

17 என் சாமர்த்தியமும் என் கைப்பெலனும் இந்த ஐசுவரியத்தை எனக்குச் சம்பாதித்தது என்று நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நினைப்பாயாக; அவரே உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்படி, இந்நாளில் உனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, ஐசுவரியத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறதற்கான பெலனை உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறவர். But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

19 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நீ மறந்து, வேறே தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றி அவர்களைச் சேவித்து, அவர்களைப் பணிந்து கொள்வாயானால், நிச்சயமாய் அழிந்துபோவீர்கள் என்று இன்று உங்களுக்குச் சாட்சியாய் அறிவிக்கிறேன். And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்கு நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படியாமற்போவதினால், கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழித்த ஜாதிகளைப்போல நீங்களும் அழிவீர்கள். As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

1 Neengal pilaiththup peruki, Karththar ungal pithaakkalukku aannaiyittukkoduththa thaesaththilae piravaesiththu, athaich suthantharikkumpati naan intu ungalukku vithikkira ellaak kattalaikalaikalinpatiyum seyyath saavathaanamaayiruppeerkalaaka. All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

2 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnaich siraுmaippaduththumpatikkum, thammutaiya kattalaikalai nee kaikkolvaayo kaikkollamaattayo entu avar unnaich sothiththu, un iruthayaththilullathai nee ariyumpatikkum, unnai intha naarpathu varushamalavum vanaantharaththilae nadaththivantha ellaa valiyaiyum ninaippaayaaka. And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

3 Avar unnaich siraுmaippaduththi, unnaip pasiyinaal varuththi, manushan appaththinaal maaththiram alla, karththarutaiya vaayilirunthu purappadukira ovvoru vaarththaiyinaalum pilaippaan enpathai unakku unarththumpatikku, neeyum un pithaakkalum ariyaathiruntha mannaavinaal unnaip poshiththaar. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

4 Intha naarpathu varushamum unmaeliruntha vasthiram palaiyathaayppokavumillai, un kaal veengavum illai. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

5 Oruvan than puththiranaich sitchikkirathupola un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnaich sitchikkiraar entu nee un iruthayaththil arinthukolvaayaaka. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

6 Aakaiyaal, un thaevanaakiya karththarin valikalil nadanthu, avarukkup payappadumpatikku, avarutaiya karpanaikalaik kaikkollakkadavaay. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

7 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnai nalla thaesaththilae piravaesikkappannnukiraar; athu pallaththaakkukalilum malaikalilumirunthu purappadukira aaraுkalum oottaுkalum aerikalumulla thaesam; For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

8 Athu kothumaiyum vaarkothumaiyum thiraatchach setikalum aththimarangalum maathalanjaெtikalumulla thaesam; athu olivamarangalum, ennnneyum thaenumulla thaesam; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

9 Athu thaalchchiyillaamal appam pusikkaththakkathum ontum unakkuk kuraivupadaathathumaana thaesam; athu kallukal irumpaayirukkirathum, sempu vetti edukkaththakka malaikalullathumaana thaesam. A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

10 Aakaiyaal, nee pusiththuth thirpthiyatainthirukkaiyil, un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk koduththa antha nalla thaesaththukkaaka avarai sthoththirikkakkadavaay. When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

11 Un thaevanaakiya karththarai maravaathapatikkum, naan intu unakku vithikkira avarutaiya karpanaikalaiyum niyaayangalaiyum kattalaikalaiyum kaikkollaamarpokaathapatikkum echcharikkaiyaayiru. Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

12 Nee pusiththuth thirpthiyaaki, nalla veedukalaik katti, avaikalil kutiyirukkumpothum, Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13 Un aadumaadukal thiratchiyaaki, unakku velliyum ponnum peruki, unakku unndaanavaiyellaam varththikkumpothum, And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

14 Un iruthayam maettimaiyataiyaamalum, unnai atimaiththana veedaakiya ekipthilirunthu purappadappannnninavarum, Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15 Unnutaiya pinnaatkalil unakku nanmai seyyumporuttu, unnaich siraுmaippaduththi, unnaich sothiththu, kollivaaych sarppangalum thaelkalum, thannnneerillaatha varatchiyumulla payangaramaana periya vanaantharavaliyaay unnai alaiththuvanthavarum, unakkaakap paaraiyaana kanmalaiyilirunthu thannnneer purappadappannnninavarum. 16 Un pithaakkal ariyaatha mannaavinaal vanaantharaththilae unnaip poshiththu vanthavarumaana un thaevanaakiya karththarai nee maravaamalum, Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

17 En saamarththiyamum en kaippelanum intha aisuvariyaththai enakkuch sampaathiththathu entu nee un iruthayaththil sollikkollaamalum irukka echcharikkaiyaayirunthu, And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18 Un thaevanaakiya karththarai ninaippaayaaka; avarae un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittukkoduththa thammutaiya udanpatikkaiyai uraுthippaduththumpati, innaalil unakku unndaayirukkirathupola, aisuvariyaththaich sampaathikkiratharkaana pelanai unakkuk kodukkiravar. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

19 Un thaevanaakiya karththarai nee maranthu, vaeraே thaevarkalaip pinpatti avarkalaich seviththu, avarkalaip panninthu kolvaayaanaal, nichchayamaay alinthupoveerkal entu intu ungalukkuch saatchiyaay arivikkiraேn. And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20 Un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya saththaththirku neengal geelppatiyaamarpovathinaal, Karththar ungalukku munpaaka aliththa jaathikalaippola neengalum aliveerkal. As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.
