ఆ మనుష్యులు దీని చూచి రాజసన్నిధికి సంద డిగా కూడి వచ్చిరాజా, రాజు స్థిరపరచిన యే శాసనము గాని తీర్మానము గాని యెవడును రద్దుపరచజాలడు; ఇది మాదీయులకును పారసీకులకును విధియని తమరు తెలిసి కొనవలెననిరి.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.
