Leviticus 20:25
కావున మీరు పవిత్ర జంతువులకును అపవిత్ర జంతువులకును పవిత్ర పక్షులకును అపవిత్ర పక్షులకును విభజన చేయవలెను. అపవిత్రమైనదని నేను మీకు వేరుచేసిన యే జంతువువల ననేగాని, యే పక్షివలననేగాని, నేల మీద ప్రాకు దేనివల ననేగాని మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్రపరచుకొనకూడదు.

| and between | וּבֵין | ûbên | oo-VANE |
| unclean | הָע֥וֹף | hāʿôp | ha-OFE |
| fowls | הַטָּמֵ֖א | haṭṭāmēʾ | ha-ta-MAY |
| and clean: | לַטָּהֹ֑ר | laṭṭāhōr | la-ta-HORE |
| and ye shall not | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| souls your make | תְשַׁקְּצ֨וּ | tĕšaqqĕṣû | teh-sha-keh-TSOO |
| abominable | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֜ם | napšōtêkem | nahf-shoh-tay-HEM | |
| beast, by | בַּבְּהֵמָ֣ה | babbĕhēmâ | ba-beh-hay-MA |
| or by fowl, | וּבָע֗וֹף | ûbāʿôp | oo-va-OFE |
| manner any by or | וּבְכֹל֙ | ûbĕkōl | oo-veh-HOLE |
| creepeth that thing living of | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| תִּרְמֹ֣שׂ | tirmōś | teer-MOSE | |
| on the ground, | הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה | hāʾădāmâ | ha-uh-da-MA |
| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| separated have I | הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי | hibdaltî | heev-DAHL-tee |
| from you as unclean. | לָכֶ֖ם | lākem | la-HEM |
