James 1
2 నా సహోదరులారా, మీ విశ్వాసమునకు కలుగు పరీక్ష ఓర్పును పుట్టించునని యెరిగి,
3 మీరు నానా విధములైన శోధనలలో పడునప్పుడు, అది మహానందమని యెంచుకొనుడి.
4 మీరు సంపూర్ణులును, అనూ నాంగులును,ఏ విషయములోనైనను కొదువలేనివారునై యుండునట్లు ఓర్పు తన క్రియను కొనసాగింపనీయుడి.
5 మీలో ఎవనికైనను జ్ఞానము కొదువగా ఉన్నయెడల అతడు దేవుని అడుగవలెను, అప్పుడది అతనికి అనుగ్ర హింపబడును. ఆయన ఎవనిని గద్దింపక అందరికిని ధారాళముగ దయచేయువాడు.
6 అయితే అతడు ఏమాత్రమును సందేహింపక విశ్వాసముతో అడుగవలెను; సందేహించువాడు గాలిచేత రేపబడి యెగిరిపడు సముద్ర తరంగమును పోలియుండును.
7 అట్టి మనుష్యుడు ద్విమనస్కుడై, తన సమస్త మార్గములయందు అస్థిరుడు
8 గనుక ప్రభువువలన తనకేమైనను దొరుకునని తలంచు కొనరాదు.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
