బుద్ధిహీనులను గూర్చినట్లుగానే జ్ఞానులను గూర్చియు జ్ఞాపకము ఎన్నటికిని యుంచబడదు; రాబోవు దిన ములలో వారందరును మరువబడినవారై యుందురు; జ్ఞానులు మృతినొందు విధమెట్టిదో బుద్ధిహీనులు మృతినొందు విధమట్టిదే.

King James Version (KJV)
For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

American Standard Version (ASV)
For of the wise man, even as of the fool, there is no remembrance for ever; seeing that in the days to come all will have been long forgotten. And how doth the wise man die even as the fool!

of the wise לֶחָכָ֛ם ḥākām ha-HAHM
more than עִֽם ʿim eem
of the fool הַכְּסִ֖יל kĕsîl keh-SEEL
for ever; לְעוֹלָ֑ם ʿôlām oh-LAHM
seeing that which now בְּשֶׁכְּבָ֞ר kĕbār keh-VAHR
in the days הַיָּמִ֤ים yôm yome
to come הַבָּאִים֙ bôʾ boh
shall all הַכֹּ֣ל kōl kole
be forgotten. נִשְׁכָּ֔ח šākaḥ sha-HAHK
And how וְאֵ֛יךְ ʾêk ake
dieth יָמ֥וּת mût moot
the wise הֶחָכָ֖ם ḥākām ha-HAHM
as עִֽם ʿim eem
the fool. הַכְּסִֽיל׃ kĕsîl keh-SEEL
