மத்தேயு 26:73
சற்று நேரத்திற்குபின்பு அங்கே நின்றவர்கள் பேதுருவினிடத்தில் வந்து: மெய்யாகவே நீயும் அவர்களில் ஒருவன்; உன் பேச்சு உன்னை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது என்றார்கள்.

சிறிது நேரம் கழித்து அங்கு நின்றிருந்த சிலர் பேதுருவிடம் சென்று, “இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களில் நீயும் ஒருவன் என்பது எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும். நீ பேசுவதிலிருந்து எங்களுக்கு அது தெரிகிறது” என்று கூறினார்கள்.
