பன்றிகளை மேய்த்தவர்கள் ஓடி, இதைப் பட்டணத்திலும் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலும் அறிவித்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது சம்பவித்ததைப் பார்க்கும்படி ஜனங்கள் புறப்பட்டு;

பன்றிகளை மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தவர்கள் அவ்விடத்தை விட்டு ஓடிவிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் பட்டணத்துக்கும், வயல்வெளிக்கும் சென்றார்கள். அங்கு சந்தித்த மக்களிடமெல்லாம் இதனைச் சொன்னார்கள். மக்களும் என்ன நடந்தது என்பதை அறிய வந்தனர்.
