லூக்கா 11:7
வீட்டுக்குள் இருக்கிறவன் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என்னைத் தொந்தரவு செய்யாதே, கதவு பூட்டியாயிற்று, என் பிள்ளைகள் என்னோடேகூடப் படுத்திருக்கிறார்கள், நான் எழுந்திருந்து, உனக்குத் தரக்கூடாது என்று சொன்னான்.

வீட்டின் உள்ளிருக்கும் உங்கள் நண்பன் பதிலாக, ‘போய்விடுங்கள்! என்னைத் தொல்லைப்படுத்தாதீர்கள். கதவு ஏற்கெனவே மூடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. என் குழந்தைகளும், நானும் படுக்கையில் படுத்திருக்கிறோம். நான் எழுந்து உங்களுக்கு இப்போது அப்பத்தைக் கொடுக்கமுடியாது’ என்கிறான்.

வீட்டெஜமான் எழுந்து, கதவைப்பூட்டின பின்பு, நீங்கள் வெளியே நின்று ஆண்டவரே, ஆண்டவரே, எங்களுக்குத்திறக்க வேண்டுமென்று சொல்லிக் கதவைத் தட்டும்போது, அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுவார்.

மத்தேயு 25:10
அப்படியே அவர்கள் வாங்கப் போனபோது மணவாளன் வந்துவிட்டார்; ஆயத்தமாயிருந்தவர்கள் அவரோடே கூடக் கலியாண வீட்டிற்குள் பிரவேசித்தார்கள்; கதவும் அடைக்கப்பட்டது.
