கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும்; பரதேசியானாலும் சுதேசியானாலும் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

கர்த்தருக்கு எதிராக பேசுகிற எவனையும் எல்லோரும் சேர்ந்து கல்லெறிந்து கொன்று போடவேண்டும். அவன் அந்நியனாக இருந்தாலும் அவனும் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களைப் போன்றே தண்டிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிற எவனும் சாகடிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

ஆண்டவரின் திருப்பெயரை இகழ்பவர் கொலை செய்யப்படுவார்; சபையார் கல்லாலெறிவர். அந்நியரோ, நாட்டினரோ, யார் எனினும் திருப்பெயரை இகழ்கிறவர் கொல்லப்படுவார்.⒫

And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name `of Jehovah', shall be put to death.

And he that blasphemeth וְנֹקֵ֤ב nāqab na-KAHV
the name שֵׁם šēm shame
of the Lord, יְהוָה֙ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
he shall surely מ֣וֹת mût moot
be put to death, יוּמָ֔ת mût moot
shall certainly רָג֥וֹם rāgam ra-ɡAHM
stone יִרְגְּמוּ rāgam ra-ɡAHM
ב֖וֹ
all כָּל kōl kole
the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֑ה ʿēdâ ay-DA
him: as well the stranger, כַּגֵּר֙ gēr ɡare
as he that is born in the land, כָּֽאֶזְרָ֔ח ʾezrāḥ ez-RAHK
