அதற்குச் சேபூல்: அபிமெலேக்கை நாம் சேவிக்கிறதற்கு அவன் யார் என்று நீ சொன்ன உன் வாய் இப்பொழுது எங்கே? நீ நிந்தித்தஜனங்கள் அவர்கள் அல்லவா? இப்பொழுது நீ புறப்பட்டு, அவர்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணு என்றான்.

செபூல் அவனிடம், “அபிமெலக்கு என்பவன் யார்? நாம் ஏன் அவனுக்கு அடிபணிய வேண்டும் என்று கூறிய உன்வாய் எங்கே? இம்மக்களையன்றோ நீ இழித்துரைத்தாய்? இப்பொழுது புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று அவனோடு போரிடு என்றான்.
