லீபனோன் துவக்கி மிஸ்ரபோத்மாயீம் மட்டும் மலைகளில் குடியிருக்கிற யாவருடைய நாடும், சீதோனியருடைய எல்லா நாடும்தானே. நான் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துவேன்; நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, நீ இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகச் சீட்டுகளைமாத்திரம் போட்டுத் தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடவேண்டும்.

கர்த்தர் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேலின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அவர்களை முறிய அடித்து, பெரிய சீதோன்மட்டும் மிஸ்ரபோத்மாயீமட்டும், கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற மிஸ்பே பள்ளத்தாக்குமட்டும் துரத்தி, அவர்களில் ஒருவரும் மீதியாயிராதபடி, அவர்களை வெட்டிப்போட்டார்கள்.

யோசுவா 23:13
