நான் அவரவருக்கு விதித்த என் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை அவர்கள் விட்டு, என் சொல்லைக் கேளாலும், அதின்படி நடவாமலும்,

கர்த்தர் இந்த வினாக்களுக்கு விடை சொன்னார். அவர் கூறினார்: “இது ஏனென்றால், யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் எனது போதனைகளைப் பின்பற்றுவதை விட்டுவிட்டார்கள். நான் எனது போதனைகளைக் கொடுத்தேன். ஆனால், அவர்கள் நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்க மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.

they have forsaken עָזְבָם֙ ʿāzab ah-ZAHV
אֶת ʾēt ate
my law תּ֣וֹרָתִ֔י tôrâ toh-RA
which אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I set נָתַ֖תִּי nātan na-TAHN
before לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם pānîm pa-NEEM
them, and have not וְלֹא lōʾ loh
obeyed שָׁמְע֥וּ šāmaʿ sha-MA
my voice, בְקוֹלִ֖י qôl kole
neither וְלֹא lōʾ loh
