உபாகமம் 16:8
நீ ஆறுநாளும் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பம் புசிக்கவேண்டும்; ஏழாம் நாள் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஆசரிக்கப்படும் நாளாயிருக்கும்; அதிலே யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

ஆறு நாட்கள் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பத்தையே நீங்கள் உண்ண வேண்டும். ஏழாவது நாளில் நீங்கள் எந்த வேலையும் செய்யக்கூடாது. அந்த நாளில் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தும் பொருட்டு நீங்கள் அனைவரும் ஒன்று கூட வேண்டும்.

thou shalt eat תֹּאכַ֣ל ʾākal ah-HAHL
unleavened bread: מַצּ֑וֹת maṣṣâ ma-TSA
day וּבַיּ֣וֹם yôm yome
and on the seventh הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י šĕbîʿî sheh-vee-EE
a solemn assembly עֲצֶ֙רֶת֙ ʿăṣārâ uh-tsa-RA
