உபாகமம் 16:1
ஆபிப் மாதத்தைக் கவனித்திருந்து, அதில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவாய்; ஆபிப்மாதத்திலே இராக்காலத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினாரே.

ஆபீபு மாதத்தை நினைவில்கொண்டு, உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவருக்கெனப் பாஸ்காவைக் கொண்டாடு. ஏனெனில் ஆபீபு மாதத்தில்தான், ஓர் இரவில், உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் உன்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளிக்கொணர்ந்தார்.

and keep וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ ʿāśâ ah-SA
the passover פֶּ֔סַח pesaḥ peh-SAHK
unto the Lord לַֽיהוָ֖ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
thy God: אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
for כִּ֞י kî kee
in the month בְּחֹ֣דֶשׁ ḥōdeš hoh-DESH
of Abib הָֽאָבִ֗יב ʾābîb ah-VEEV
brought thee forth הוֹצִ֨יאֲךָ֜ yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
the Lord יְהוָ֧ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA

out of Egypt מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
