Genesis 46:3
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ। ਮਿਸਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਡਰ। ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੌਮ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

| I | אָֽנֹכִ֥י | ʾānōkî | ah-noh-HEE |
| am God, | הָאֵ֖ל | hāʾēl | ha-ALE |
| God the | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| of thy father: | אָבִ֑יךָ | ʾābîkā | ah-VEE-ha |
| fear | אַל | ʾal | al |
| not | תִּירָא֙ | tîrāʾ | tee-RA |
| down go to | מֵֽרְדָ֣ה | mērĕdâ | may-reh-DA |
| into Egypt; | מִצְרַ֔יְמָה | miṣraymâ | meets-RA-ma |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| there will I | לְג֥וֹי | lĕgôy | leh-ɡOY |
| make | גָּד֖וֹל | gādôl | ɡa-DOLE |
| of thee a great | אֲשִֽׂימְךָ֥ | ʾăśîmĕkā | uh-see-meh-HA |
| nation: | שָֽׁם׃ | šām | shahm |
