Genesis 4:5
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਇਨ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ।

But unto	וְאֶל	wĕʾel	veh-EL
Cain	קַ֥יִן	qayin	KA-yeen
and to	וְאֶל	wĕʾel	veh-EL
his offering	מִנְחָת֖וֹ	minḥātô	meen-ha-TOH
respect. not had he	לֹ֣א	lōʾ	loh
	שָׁעָ֑ה	šāʿâ	sha-AH
And Cain	וַיִּ֤חַר	wayyiḥar	va-YEE-hahr
very was	לְקַ֙יִן֙	lĕqayin	leh-KA-YEEN
wroth,	מְאֹ֔ד	mĕʾōd	meh-ODE
and his countenance	וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ	wayyippĕlû	va-yee-peh-LOO
fell.	פָּנָֽיו׃	pānāyw	pa-NAIV
