Genesis 34:30
ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣੇ ਹੋ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਸਾਰੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਜ਼ੀ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਏ, ਮੈਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”
