Genesis 29:33
ਲੇਆਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”

| again, | עוֹד֮ | ʿôd | ode |
| and bare | וַתֵּ֣לֶד | wattēled | va-TAY-led |
| a son; | בֵּן֒ | bēn | bane |
| said, and | וַתֹּ֗אמֶר | wattōʾmer | va-TOH-mer |
| Because | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| the Lord | שָׁמַ֤ע | šāmaʿ | sha-MA |
| hath heard | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| that | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| I | שְׂנוּאָ֣ה | śĕnûʾâ | seh-noo-AH |
| was hated, | אָנֹ֔כִי | ʾānōkî | ah-NOH-hee |
| he hath therefore given | וַיִּתֶּן | wayyitten | va-yee-TEN |
| me | לִ֖י | lî | lee |
| this | גַּם | gam | ɡahm |
| also: son | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| and she called | זֶ֑ה | ze | zeh |
| his name | וַתִּקְרָ֥א | wattiqrāʾ | va-teek-RA |
| Simeon. | שְׁמ֖וֹ | šĕmô | sheh-MOH |
