ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਬਰਾਮ 99 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ: ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂ।
