Psalm 9 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் விவரிப்பேன். I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2 உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன்; உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன். I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

3 என் சத்துருக்கள் பின்னாகத் திரும்பும்போது, உமது சமுகத்தில் அவர்கள் இடறுண்டு அழிந்துபோவார்கள். When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

4 நீர் என் நியாயத்தையும் என் வழக்கையும் தீர்த்து, நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதியாய் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறீர். For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

5 ஜாதிகளைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு துன்மார்க்கரை அழித்து, அவர்கள் நாமத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் இல்லாதபடி குலைத்துப்போட்டீர். Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

6 சத்துருக்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் பாழாக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; அவர்கள் பேரும் அவர்களோடேகூட ஒழிந்துபோயிற்று. O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

7 கர்த்தரோ என்றென்றைக்கும் இருப்பார்; தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தை நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினார். But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

8 அவர் பூச்சக்கரத்தை நீதியாய் நியாயந்தீர்த்து, சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் செம்மையாய் நீதிசெய்வார். And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

9 சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமானவர்; நெருக்கப்படுகிற காலங்களில் அவரே தஞ்சமானவர். The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

10 கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்களை நீர் கைவிடுகிறதில்லை; ஆதலால், உமது நாமத்தை அறிந்தவர்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருப்பார்கள். And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

11 சீயோனில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவர் செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவியுங்கள். Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

12 இரத்தப்பழிகளைக்குறித்து அவர் விசாரணை செய்யும்போது, அவைகளை நினைக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய கூப்பிடுதலை மறவார். When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

13 மரணவாசல்களிலிருந்து என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடுகிற கர்த்தாவே, நான் உம்முடைய துதிகளையெல்லாம் சீயோன் குமாரத்தியின் வாசல்களில் விவரித்து, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் களிகூரும்படிக்கு, Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

14 தேவரீர் எனக்கு இரங்கி, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களால் எனக்கு வரும் துன்பத்தை நோக்கிப்பாரும். That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

15 ஜாதிகள் தாங்கள் வெட்டின குழியில் தாங்களே விழுந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் மறைவாய் வைத்த வலையில் அவர்களுடைய காலே அகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டது. The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

16 கர்த்தர் தாம் செய்த நியாயத்தில் அறியப்படுகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கைகளின் செய்கையிலே சிக்கிக்கொண்டான்.(இகாயோன்,சேலா.) The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

17 துன்மார்க்கரும், தேவனை மறக்கிற எல்லா ஜாதிகளும், நரகத்திலே தள்ளப்படுவார்கள். The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

18 எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை. For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

19 எழுந்தருளும் கர்த்தாவே, மனுஷன் பெலன் கொள்ளாதபடி செய்யும்; ஜாதிகள் உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்படக்கடவர்கள். Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

20 ஜாதிகள் தங்களை மனுஷரென்று அறியும்படிக்கு, அவர்களுக்குப் பயமுண்டாக்கும், கர்த்தாவே. (சேலா.) Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

1 Karththaavae, en mulu iruthayaththodum ummaith thuthippaen; ummutaiya athisayangalaiyellaam vivarippaen. I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2 Ummil makilnthu kalikooruvaen; unnathamaanavarae, umathu naamaththaik geerththanampannnuvaen. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

3 En saththurukkal pinnaakath thirumpumpothu, umathu samukaththil avarkal idaraுnndu alinthupovaarkal. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

4 Neer en niyaayaththaiyum en valakkaiyum theerththu, neethiyulla niyaayaathipathiyaay singaasanaththinmael veettirukkireer. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

5 Jaathikalaik katinthukonndu thunmaarkkarai aliththu, avarkal naamaththai ententaikkum illaathapati kulaiththuppottir. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

6 Saththurukkal ententaikkum paalaakkappattarkal; avarkal pattanangalai nirmoolamaakkineer; avarkal paerum avarkalotaekooda olinthupoyittaு. O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

7 Karththaro ententaikkum iruppaar; thammutaiya singaasanaththai niyaayaththeerppukku aayaththampannnninaar. But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

8 Avar poochchakkaraththai neethiyaay niyaayantheerththu, sakala janangalukkum semmaiyaay neethiseyvaar. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

9 Siraுmaippattavanukkuk Karththar ataikkalamaanavar; nerukkappadukira kaalangalil avarae thanjamaanavar. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

10 Karththaavae, ummaith thaedukiravarkalai neer kaividukirathillai; aathalaal, umathu naamaththai arinthavarkal ummai nampiyiruppaarkal. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

11 Seeyonil vaasamaayirukkira karththaraik geerththanampannnni, avar seykaikalai janangalukkullae ariviyungal. Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

12 Iraththappalikalaikkuriththu avar visaarannai seyyumpothu, avaikalai ninaikkiraar; siraுmaippattavarkalutaiya kooppiduthalai maravaar. When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

13 Maranavaasalkalilirunthu ennaith thookkividukira karththaavae, naan ummutaiya thuthikalaiyellaam seeyon kumaaraththiyin vaasalkalil vivariththu, ummutaiya iratchippinaal kalikoorumpatikku, Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

14 Thaevareer enakku irangi, ennaip pakaikkiravarkalaal enakku varum thunpaththai Nnokkippaarum. That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

15 Jaathikal thaangal vettina kuliyil thaangalae vilunthaarkal; avarkal maraivaay vaiththa valaiyil avarkalutaiya kaalae akappattukkonndathu. The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

16 Karththar thaam seytha niyaayaththil ariyappadukiraar; thunmaarkkan than kaikalin seykaiyilae sikkikkonndaan.(ikaayon,selaa.) The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

17 Thunmaarkkarum, thaevanai marakkira ellaa jaathikalum, narakaththilae thallappaduvaarkal. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

18 Eliyavan entaikkum marakkappaduvathillai; siraுmaippattavarkalutaiya nampikkai orupothum kettuppovathillai. For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

19 Eluntharulum karththaavae, manushan pelan kollaathapati seyyum; jaathikal ummutaiya samukaththil niyaayantheerkkappadakkadavarkal. Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

20 Jaathikal thangalai manusharentu ariyumpatikku, avarkalukkup payamunndaakkum, karththaavae. (selaa.) Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
