ଏହାଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ନୁହଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣି ରଖିବା ଉଚିତ ଯେ, ଜଗତକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇବା ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ବିଷୟ ସମାନ। ଅତଏବ ଯଦି କହେି ଏହି ସଂସାରର ଅଂଶୀ ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ, ତବେେ ସେ ନିଜକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ କରି ପକାଏ।

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.
