କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡରଙ୍କୁ ଜଣେ ଯିହୂଦୀୟ ବୋଲି ଜାଣି ପାରିଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଦୁଇ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଚ଼ିତ୍କାର କଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, ଏଫିସୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ମହାଦବେୀ ଆର୍ତ୍ତମେୀ ମହାନ୍ ଅଟନ୍ତି...!

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦେଖୁଛ ଓ ଶୁଣୁଛ ଯେ, ଏହି ପାଉଲ କବଳେ ଏଫିସ ନଗର ରେ ନୁହେଁ, ପୁରା ଏସିଆ ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମତଇେ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରୁଛି। ସେ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ହାତ ତିଆରି ଦବେତାମାନେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଦବେତା ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।

ଲୋକାମନେ ସହେି ସାପକୁ ପୂଜା କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେ ତା'ର କ୍ଷମତା ପଶୁକୁ ଦାନ କରିଦଇେଥିଲା। ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ପଶୁକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ପୂଜା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ପଶୁ ଭଳି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କିଏ ଅଛି ? ତା' ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କିଏ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିପାରିବ ?
