ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 29:10
ଆସନ୍ତା କାଲି ସକାଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ମୁ ଦଇେଥିବା ଜାଗାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଦୟାକରି ଅଧିପତିମାନେ କହିଥିବା କଥାପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଦବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଣେ ଭଲ ଲୋକ, ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୂର୍ େଯ୍ଯାଦଯ ମାତ୍ ରେ ଫରେିୟିବା ଭଲ।

அவர்களில் சிலர் கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்துப்பார்த்து, பாம்புகளால் அழிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அதுபோல நாமும் கிறிஸ்துவைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்காமலிருப்போமாக.

அம்மக்களில் சிலர் செய்தது போல் நாம் கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்துப் பார்க்கக் கூடாது. கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்ததால் அவர்கள் பாம்புகளினால் கொல்லப்பட்டார்கள்.
