ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସଠାେରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଯଭେଳି ଭାବରେ ଥଟ୍ଟା କରୁଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଠିକ୍ ସହେିଭଳି ୟିଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଥଟ୍ଟା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କୁହାକୁହି ହେଉଥିଲେ, ସେ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେ ନିଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ।
