וַיַּעַן֩ And va-ya-AN רְאוּבֵ֨ן Reuben reh-oo-VANE אֹתָ֜ם them, oh-TAHM לֵאמֹ֗ר saying, lay-MORE הֲלוֹא֩ not huh-LOH אָמַ֨רְתִּי I ah-MAHR-tee אֲלֵיכֶ֧ם׀ Spake uh-lay-HEM לֵאמֹ֛ר unto lay-MORE אַל you, al תֶּֽחֶטְא֥וּ saying, teh-het-OO בַיֶּ֖לֶד Do va-YEH-led וְלֹ֣א not veh-LOH שְׁמַעְתֶּ֑ם sin sheh-ma-TEM וְגַם child; veh-ɡAHM דָּמ֖וֹ the da-MOH הִנֵּ֥ה against hee-NAY נִדְרָֽשׁ׃ and need-RAHSH
