Ezra 6:22
ଏବଂ ସାତଦିନ ଆନନ୍ଦ ରେ ତାଡୀଶୂନ୍ଯ ରୋଟୀର ପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କଲେ। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅନନ୍ଦିତ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ସବଳ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଅଶୂରୀଯ ରାଜାର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଫରୋଇ ଥିଲେ।

ପ୍ରଥମ ବର୍ଷ ରେ କୋରସ ପାରସ୍ଯର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଘାଷେଣା ପତ୍ର ଲେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ ଉକ୍ତ ଘାଷେଣାନାମାକୁ ତାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଗ୍ଭରିଆଡେ ପଢି ଶୁଣାଇ ଥିଲେ। ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା କୁହାୟାଇଥିବା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ପୂରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଏହା ଥିଲା। ସହେି ଘାଷେଣା ନାମାଟି ଏହିପରି ଥିଲା।

ଏହି ଉତ୍ସବ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଡିଶୂନ୍ଯ ରୋଟୀ ସାତଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଖାଇବ। ବିଶଷେତଃ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହରୁ ତାଡି ଦୂର ରେ ରଖିବ। ଏହି ସାତଦିନ ମଧିଅରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କହେି ତାଡି ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି କହେି ତାଡି ଭୋଜନ କରେ ତବେେ ସେ ତା'ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ବିଛିନ୍ନ ହବେ।
