ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ୟିଷ୍ରୀଯଲେ ଉପତ୍ୟକାର ଅପରପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଓ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ଅପରପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦେଖିଲେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଦୌଡି ପଳାଉଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଦେଖିଲେ, ଶାଉଲ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରମାନେ ମରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସେ ସହର ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ଦୌଡି ପଳାଇଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସହେି ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ, ଓ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କଲେ।
