यूसुफका दाज्यू-भाइहरूले भने, “के यसको अर्थ, तँ राजा हुन्छस् अनि हामीहरू सबैलाई शासन गर्छस्?” उसको दाज्यू-भाइहरूले ऊ माथि अझै धेरै घृणा गर्न थाले, कारण तिनीहरूको विषयमा उसले सपना देखेको थियो।
