पूजाहारीहरू परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको भित्री भाग शुद्ध गर्न गए। तिनीहरूले भेट्टाएका सबै अशुद्ध चीज-बीजहरू निकाले। तिनीहरूले अशुद्ध चीज-बीजहरू परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको आँगनमा ल्याए। तब लेवीहरूले ती अशुद्ध चीज-बीजहरू बाहिर किद्रोन बेंसीमा लगे।
