Exodus 7:19
परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नु भयो, “हारूनलाई भन् कि उसले आफ्नो हातको लहुरोले मिश्र देशका मानिसहरूले जम्मा गरेको पानीको कुवा, नहर, नदी, ताल प्रत्येक ठाउँमा हिर्काओस् जब उसले त्यसो गर्छ सबै पानी रगतमा परिवर्तन हुनेछ। यहाँसम्म तिनीहरूले काठ र ढुङ्गाको भाँडामा राखेको पानी पनि रगत बनिनेछ।”

| of Egypt, | מִצְרַ֜יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |

| their pools | מִקְוֵ֥ה | miqwē | meek-VAY |
| of water, | מֵֽימֵיהֶ֖ם | mêmêhem | may-may-HEM |
| become may they that | וְיִֽהְיוּ | wĕyihĕyû | veh-YEE-heh-yoo |
| blood; | דָ֑ם | dām | dahm |
| and that there may be | וְהָ֤יָה | wĕhāyâ | veh-HA-ya |
| blood | דָם֙ | dām | dahm |
| throughout all | בְּכָל | bĕkāl | beh-HAHL |
| the land | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| of Egypt, | מִצְרַ֔יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |
| wood, of vessels in both | וּבָֽעֵצִ֖ים | ûbāʿēṣîm | oo-va-ay-TSEEM |
| and in vessels of stone. | וּבָֽאֲבָנִֽים׃ | ûbāʾăbānîm | oo-VA-uh-va-NEEM |
